Global Village

Global Village aims to provide a space for young people from former refugee and migrant  backgrounds where they can feel safe to express their culture.

During our sessions we explore music, storytelling  and food from different cultures around the world. This fosters cultural connections and as a result, the young people learn  more about each other. We also aim to connect the young people to other cultural spaces within the city which also helps to encourage the young people to learn more about the new communities they are now part of. This encourages them to always be proud of where they are from, but also appreciate their new home away from home.
